We received this great gift from Sean and Gail for Christmas and had been waiting to use it once the weather warmed up. It couldn't have been a more perfect day for the food tour, it was Spring in New York! But first we needed to fuel up with breakfast at our local go-to brunch spot, Ted & Honey.
After breakfast (and a few minutes of digesting), we were off to Manhattan. We met our tour guide in front of Murray's Cheese Shop on Bleecker at 11:30am and soon enough we were off. First stop, Joe's pizza!

| Getting to know our guide before we got started. She was a crack-up! |
| Yep. |
| We're certified olive oil pros now |
| Fried risotto balls! Mmmm... |
| Irving House! If only we had an extra $8 million to buy it! |
| Delicious stuffed eggplant rolls |
| The house directly behind Gregg was once Aaron Burr's (famous for being Vice President and killing Alexander Hamilton in a duel at the same time) but is now owned by Jesse Eisenberg, who unceremoniously removed the historic landmark plaque from the façade |
| New York's skinniest house, 9.5 feet wide! Cary Grant used to live here. |
| "Friends" apartment building! |

| Finishing up the tour with a cannoli! |
After the tour wrapped up we wanted to take advantage of a beautiful day and searched for a rooftop bar with a view.
The Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking District had the perfect spot.
The next week, we got to meet up with the Middlebrook gang (minus John). We had a nice time catching up over brunch at
Bleecker Kitchen and took a stroll through Washington Square Park together after. Coincidentally, they had enjoyed the SAME food tour the day before. Highly recommended by all parties :)
